As Accounting Manager, Jennifer Kennedy is the person responsible for ensuring that all Triserv appraisers get paid on the 1st and 15th of every month. Jennifer leads a three-person accounting department that ensures all financial processes run smoothly. She and her team are responsible for account receivables, account payables, vendor 1099s, Triserv’s bills, collections, and refunds, as well as responding to client requests regarding anything billing-related.
Jennifer has been with Triserv for eight years. She describes herself as a “jack of all trades,” which has allowed her to do just about every job at Triserv other than reviewing appraisals. She finds that this experience helps her when she deals with appraisers and lenders, as she truly understands every aspect of the appraisal process.
When asked what she loves about her job, Jennifer says, “The people I work with - that’s why I’ve been here so long. I love everyone I work with. I also love what I do, especially making sure the appraisers get their money on time as efficiently as possible. I like the relationship that I have earned with our appraisers.”
Jennifer lives in Griffin, Georgia, which is about 25 miles south of the Atlanta airport. Her commute to Triserv’s office in Roswell, Georgia, is 100 miles round trip, which can take anywhere from 1 to 2+ hours each way. She’s currently in the office on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and works from home on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Jennifer has been married to Russell Kennedy for 16 years, and they have two daughters, Brianna (15 years old), and Brynleigh (2 years old).
In her free time, Jennifer enjoys working on DIY projects around her house. She also enjoys working in her garden, mowing the lawn, planting flowers, pruning, and hanging outside by her fire pit.
